 ART IN SEATTLE
Seattle, WA is located on the west coast, affording it great views of the Puget Sound and Lake Washington. It has been called the fastest-growing large city in the United States, with a metropolian area population of more than 3 million. The city was officially founded in 1851 and named after a Native American chief of the local tribes. It is perhaps best known today for getting a great deal of rain, being the birthplace of the famous café chain Starbucks, and is often ranked high in lists of ecoy-friendly or "green" US cities. With a great selection of art venues, events and educational institutions, it's no wonder this city is consistently ranked a Must See US city.
